Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ERSA) hosts the Spaceport America Cup for the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). You don’t only have to work for NASA in order to launch rockets. Check out the CSU IREC Team!

The CSU IREC team’s mission is to design, build, and fly a rocket capable of reaching 10,000 ft off the ground! These rockets must carry a payload or experiment that is to be released at Apogee (The highest point that the rocket traveles off the ground) and must be safely recovered to fly a second or third time!
